A Book About Death Australia exhibition date at Tweed River Art Gallery is getting closer. We have finalised the invitation to the opening on Friday 18 October 6.30pm.
In the spirit of democracy we drew names out of a hat from participating New South Wales Northern Rivers artists to open the exhibition. The name we drew out was Rahima Jackson, a Southern Cross University student who has agreed to give an opening speech along with co-curator Heather Matthew.
The beautiful invitation has been designed by the gallery staff using the image of another Northern Rivers artist, Mark Davis. Thank-you to everyone who has contributed so far and to our blog designer Zoe Robinson-Kennedy who helped us make the blog look so fabulous.
Now it's up to all of you to tell your friends that they have until 20 September to get their entries into this fabulous show.
And you're all invited to come!! Here's the official invitation.....
You are all invited!
